ABBS Hosts Regalia 2026 Fest

Acharya Bangalore B School (ABBS) hosted Regalia 2026, its annual inter-college fest, drawing participation from more than 2,000 students representing over 80 institutions across the country.

The event featured a range of competitions spanning management, business, cultural and sports categories. Activities included business case competitions, ideathons, quizzes and cultural performances, reflecting the increasing role of such platforms in extending learning beyond classrooms.

The fest brought together undergraduate and postgraduate students, offering opportunities to engage in collaborative and competitive activities that emphasise skills such as leadership, problem-solving and creativity.

Dayanand Sagar Business Academy emerged as the overall winner, securing the top position based on performance across multiple events.

Mr. Nakul Basani, Executive Director of Operations, Acharya Bangalore Business School, said, “Such platforms contribute to experiential learning by enabling students to engage with real-world challenges and develop practical skills.”

Inter-college festivals are increasingly being positioned as spaces for networking and skill development, alongside academic learning. Events such as Regalia reflect a broader trend in higher education towards integrating extracurricular engagement with professional skill-building.

The participation scale and diversity of events indicate growing interest in student-led initiatives that combine academic and co-curricular learning experiences.
